DAY 1 — JOURNEY TO KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK

Morning

Depart Kampala or Entebbe early in the morning and begin the scenic journey northwards towards Kidepo Valley National Park. Travel through Uganda’s countryside, passing local communities, rolling landscapes and the changing scenery of the Karamoja region.

Afternoon

Arrive in the Kidepo area, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. Take some time to relax and enjoy the spectacular views surrounding the park.

Evening

Set out for an introductory game drive in the Narus Valley. Look out for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and antelopes as the sun begins to set over the savannah.

DAY 2 — FULL-DAY WILDLIFE SAFARI

Early Morning

After breakfast, head out for an early morning game drive through the Narus Valley, one of the best areas in Kidepo for wildlife viewing. The cool morning hours offer excellent opportunities to spot predators and large herds of wildlife.

Midday

Return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation before continuing your safari adventure.

Afternoon

Enjoy another game drive through the valley, exploring different wildlife areas and water points. Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and, with some luck, cheetahs and leopards.

Evening

Enjoy the spectacular Kidepo sunset before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 3 — KIDEPO VALLEY & KARAMOJONG CULTURAL EXPERIENCE

Morning

After breakfast, venture deeper into Kidepo Valley on a scenic game drive towards Kanangorok Hot Springs. Enjoy the spectacular wilderness and mountain scenery while watching for wildlife along the way.

Afternoon

Return towards the community and experience the culture of the Karamojong people. Visit a traditional homestead, learn about their way of life, livestock traditions and cultural heritage, and enjoy traditional songs and dances.

Evening

Return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the remote Kidepo wilderness and, weather permitting, a spectacular view of the night sky.

DAY 4 — SUNRISE GAME DRIVE & DEPARTURE

Early Morning

Wake up early and enjoy a final sunrise game drive through Kidepo Valley or Narus Valley. This is your final opportunity to spot wildlife in the beautiful morning light and capture memorable photographs of the park.

Morning

Return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out and beginning your journey back towards Kampala or Entebbe.

Afternoon

Continue the scenic journey through northern Uganda with lunch en route, enjoying the changing landscapes along the way.

Evening

Arrive in Kampala or Entebbe, marking the end of your 4-day Kidepo Valley National Park adventure.
